Building Asset Performance Framework

What is it?

The Building Asset Performance Framework (BAPF) (PDF, 732KB) is a Queensland Government guideline which provides departments with a systematic, effective approach to government building management.

It shows how to establish performance indicators and performance measures for assessing a building.

This document includes a building asset performance template in which users can enter data (for printing only).

Alternatively, the template is available in Word format (download building asset performance template (DOC, 239KB)) which can be customised to suit user requirements.

The BAPF complements other whole-of-Government policies and guidelines, including the Capital Works Management Framework, the Maintenance Management Framework and the Strategic Asset Management Framework

Why have it?

To make better decisions regarding building management and to effectively meet the current and future needs of government.
