Showers and bikes

To promote a healthy and active lifestyle to Queensland Government employees, we have three shower, bike and change room facilities—two in Brisbane and one in Maroochydore.

  • Brisbane:
    • 75 William Street (Neville Bonner Building) - closing December 2016.
    • 61 Mary Street has 254 ‘double stack’ bicycle racks, 284 lockers plus male and female shower/change facilities.
  • Maroochydore—Mike Ahern Centre (12 First Avenue) features 72 bicycle racks, 112 lockers plus male and female shower/change facilities.

Occupants of other buildings can also utilise facilities specific to their own locations however staff will still need to submit an application form (PDF, 140KB) to apply for access.

How to apply

Please read the terms and conditions carefully as your access to facilities may be terminated if you do not comply. Download the application form (PDF, 140KB) if you are a Queensland Government employee or contractor and would like to use these facilities.

Note that availability is strictly limited and lockers and bicycle racks will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. If facilities are unavailable, we will place you on a waiting list.
