 Leasing to government

We procure leases and manage office space from the private sector where government owned buildings are not available.

We also develop strategies for best practice lease procurement and work closely with the policy, planning and analytical units.

As the delegated authority to negotiate and manage office space for all Queensland Government departments, we have a team of experienced staff with property skills that provide lease procurement and management services as a core business.

When a need for leased office space is identified, we investigate supply in the local property market.

Analyses include:

  • location
  • functionality
  • amenity
  • statutory and regulatory compliance
  • environmental and sustainability aspects
  • rental and other occupancy costs
  • agencies’ special requirements.
