Facilities management

Building and Asset Services offers a range of solutions to its customers associated with their facilities and asset management needs.

We focus on improving a facility’s performance while reducing operational costs and risk. This is done through management, energy conservation, life-cycle costing and analysis.


Our services include:

  • condition inspections
  • maintenance planning
  • corrective maintenance programs
  • preventative service maintenance programs
  • responsive maintenance (all hours service and call centres) as a result of property damage resulting from fire, forced entry, vandal damage or storms
  • technical advice
  • specialist services (e.g. asbestos management and lead paint removal).

Policies and guidelines

Through the our Building Policy Unit, we develop policy and supporting guidelines for building procurement and building asset management to meet government requirements.

Conference facility bookings

Please note: The Conference Facilities team only accepts bookings from the government sector.

We manage conference bookings for venues at 63, 80 and 111 George Street. There are 9 rooms in total catering from 14 to 300 people. The facilities are perfect for inner-city meetings, training sessions and seminars.

The seminar rooms offer advanced presentation equipment, including microphones, retractable projection screens, lighting controls, broadband internet, electric whiteboards and audiovisual equipment.
