Facilities management

Contract management, in-house horticultural and cleaning services

QBuild provides a range of building services to the Queensland Government including:

  • Contract management services: provided to clients statewide in the area of implementing service contracts for cleaning, horticulture, waste management, pest control and hygiene services, ongoing performance management of contracts and consultancy services.
  • In-house horticultural services: provided directly to clients through the use of in-house employees. Professional advice is provided to government facility owners on indoor and outdoor horticultural investments, landscaping and plant hire. QBuild also provides expert advice on health and safety issues, climate and soil conditions, as well as plant selection and work practices.
  • In-house cleaning services: provided directly to clients in Brisbane and Townsville through the use of in-house employees for facilities where there is a high requirement for confidentiality and sensitivity. QBuild also provides expert advice on workplace health and safety issues, materials and equipment.

Conference facility bookings

Please note: The Conference Facilities team only accepts bookings from the government sector.

We manage conference bookings for venues at 63, 80 and 111 George Street. There are 9 rooms in total catering from 14 to 300 people. The facilities are perfect for inner-city meetings, training sessions and seminars.

The seminar rooms offer advanced presentation equipment, including microphones, retractable projection screens, lighting controls, broadband internet, electric whiteboards, video conferencing and audiovisual equipment such as DVD players, CD players, VCR players, televisions and data projectors.
