From March 2014 to June 2015, the Home for Good was delivered to break the cycle of homelessness for Queensland’s most vulnerable.
The initiative aimed to do this by surveying people who were experiencing homelessness, so that a tailored solution could be found to meet their needs.
The initiative also provided an important insight into why people become homeless, which is helpful for those who work in the homelessness sector such as service providers and government. The initiative was delivered in partnership by the Queensland Government, the Queensland Council of Social Service and community partners.
The initiative ran in regions across the State.
