Queensland Housing Inspection Checklist app

A tool for community housing providers

We are committed to working with providers to manage our joint responsibilities regarding the approximately 6,500 departmental-owned community managed social housing portfolio. Part of that ongoing commitment is to improve and streamline operations.

To assist us to design, develop and test the Queensland Housing Inspection Checklist (QhIC) app, we collaborated with several providers to ensure the app meets your requirements. The app will save you time and money by allowing you to complete property inspections on departmental owned properties using a modern, consistent and efficient tool.

The QhIC app allows providers to complete and maintain records of the property inspections they are required to perform to fulfil their lease obligations. Inspectors can complete and save individual property inspection checklists on their mobile device and submit when they have data coverage.

The app is free and available now to download through Apple, Android and Windows app stores. Before use, providers will need to register with the department to receive a login pin number so community housing providers can start using the app.

Please note using this app is voluntary.
