Environmental strategy

The QFleet Environmental Strategy for the Queensland Government motor vehicle fleet (PDF, 375 KB) outlines QFleet’s five-year approach to proactively reduce its fleet emissions.

Electric vehicle transition strategy

The QFleet Electric Vehicle Transition Strategy for the Queensland Government motor vehicle fleet (PDF, 327 KB) outlines QFleet’s plan to increase the number of electric vehicles in its fleet.

These publications were produced prior to the current government.

Fleet efficiency and utilisation policy

The QFleet Fleet Efficiency and Utilisation Policy for the Queensland Government motor vehicle fleet (PDF, 1.3GB) is a practical tool to assist agencies in the management of their fleet resources.

It aims to avoid unnecessary costs to government and to demonstrate value for money in the use and management of the fleet asset.

Use and parking of government owned motor vehicles

The Public Service Commission policy – Use of Government Owned Motor Vehicles and Parking of Private Vehicles on Official Premises – prescribes the use of Queensland Government-owned motor vehicles by employees of Queensland Government departments, public service offices and public sector units.

Work Place Health and Safety

It is important to remember that workplace health and safety policies apply when driving a QFleet vehicle, under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
