Building and Asset Services

Building and Asset Services plays a major role in the procurement and contract management of building, construction and maintenance services for the Queensland Government.
Our customers include government departments and agencies responsible for schools, hospitals, housing, police stations, correctional facilities, ambulance stations and other facilities.
Our services include:
  • ensuring existing building assets continue to function as designed including planned service and unplanned maintenance, disaster recovery, condition assessments, and whole-of-life asset lifecycle assessments
  • professional advice from our team of experts in building surveying and compliance, town planning, property, architecture, engineering, plumbing and drainage, and water and wastewater
  • minor works and services that relate to the building of an asset including project management and construction management.

Partnering with us

If you are a contractor, consultant or supplier and you are interested in registering for contracts and tenders to undertake work on behalf of Building and Asset Services, please refer to the relevant information below.
Please note that if you are a contractor, consultant or supplier and you have previously registered through QBuild or the PQC system, you are not required to re-register within these disciplines.
For contractors, consultants and suppliers who wish to compete for works or service with Building and Asset Services, please complete the registration process.
For contractors who wish to compete for major capital works contracts with a value of $1,000,000 and above, or consultants who wish to undertake consultancy services on government building projects expected to exceed $60,000 in value (or determined to have a service risk rating of 3 or 4 where the consultancy fee is below $60,000), please register your details on the PQC System.
