We are the Queensland Government’s expert in procurement policy, practice and education.

This is significant considering the state spends about $6 billion annually on goods and services and $4.5 billion on capital assets/works (property, plant and equipment).

The Queensland Government Chief Procurement Office (QGCPO):

• develops and manages the State Procurement Policy, which seeks to ensure maximum value from government spending
• establishes whole-of-government supply arrangements
• offers consultancy services to help government agencies buy wisely
• provides government procurement training programs
• organises disposal of government assets
• offers graduates career pathways into the procurement.
