For building contractors

Building industry contractors wishing to work on government building projects that exceed $1,000,000 need to apply for prequalification through the whole-of-Government Prequalification (PQC) System.

To apply for prequalification firstly read the:

Application forms for PQC registration will need to be carefully read, completed and submitted to the PQC Registrar.

For non-residential building contracts where the construction cost is $50 million and over you will need to apply for prequalification under the National Prequalification System.

For registration as a builder or supplier to government outside of the PQC requirements (generally for projects under $1,000,000) you may wish to register with Building and Asset Services.
