Government disposals

The Queensland Chief Procurement Office (QGCPO) manages the whole-of-government standing offer arrangement (SOA) 100 for the supply of auction services. This arrangement provides state, commonwealth and local government agencies, government-owned corporations (GOCs), government-owned enterprises (GOEs), statutory authorities and registered non-government organisations (NGOs) the opportunity to achieve a fair market value return on sale of disposable assets by public auction.

All disposals should be conducted in accordance with the Financial Accountability Act 2009 and your agency’s financial management practice manual, or commonwealth/local government equivalent, and with regard to other relevant government policies and initiatives such as sustainability.

To assess whether your assets are suitable for disposal under this arrangement, visit the disposal of assets page. To determine the best method of disposal for your asset, visit the sale by auction page. To dispose of an asset, please complete the relevant disposal form.
