To apply for accreditation under the Government Information Technology Contracting Framework Version 5.02 (GITC V5.02), please review the terms and conditions of the framework and the deed of agreement (PDF, 571KB) then complete an application form (DOC, 807KB).
One application form is required for each legal entity seeking accreditation. If you need help, refer to the Application form completion guide (PDF, 501KB).
We will review your application and issue a deed of agreement to be completed and returned to us.
Accreditation will start once the contract has been signed and a copy of the deed of agreement sent.
Please send the form, along with all supporting documentation to firstname.lastname@example.org or to our postal address.
Approved parties can be agreed to within a customer contract with no need for GITC Services approval.
The details of the approved parties are to be listed at item C1.38 of the customer contract.
Contractors may use sub-contractors to perform whole or part of a customer contract if:
- the sub-contractor is also an approved party
- this is agreed with the customer
- this is addressed in the customer contract.
No approval is required from GITC Services where the use of sub-contractors is transaction specific, i.e. on a case-by-case basis.
A company can resell ICT goods and/or services of another company directly to Queensland Government.
In this case, full accreditation is encouraged. Otherwise, the company may apply to become an agent but it would be restricted to the sale of products and/or services of the parent company only.
Contractors can authorise an agent to act on their behalf and form contracts which bind the contractor. This requires GITC Services approval.
To apply, complete and submit the Approved party agent application form (DOC, 82KB). The approved party agent will be listed in the contractors schedule A2(B).
See the Approved party agent information sheet (PDF, 19KB) for more information.
