Procurement Transformation (formerly Queensland Government Chief Procurement Office) leads the delivery of effective procurement policy and practices for the Queensland Government. It provides a range of services to Queensland Government buyers and suppliers to government.
A taskforce is currently working on transforming Queensland Government procurement to reduce red tape for suppliers and save public funds.
The Queensland Procurement Policy is comprised of six principles, that provide the framework for all Queensland Government procurement. It includes advice and guidance on purchasing best practice to both suppliers and government agencies.
