Procurement training

The Procurement Training and Certification Program is open to staff in Queensland Government budget sector agencies, government-owned corporations and statutory bodies. To check if you are able to participate in the training program, please confirm your organisation is on the Eligible organisations page.

We deliver the Procurement Training and Certification Program as part of our responsibility (outlined in the State Procurement Policy) to develop the procurement capability of staff in Queensland Government budget sector agencies, government-owned corporations and statutory bodies.

Our nationally recognised program has pioneered strategies and programs to improve procurement methods and upgrade the capabilities of procurement practitioners.

Learn more about student policies and procedures, assessments and the professional membership you can get when you complete the program.

Procurement policy and guidance has more information and resources on procurement policy.

The QGCPO Training certification program (PDF, 83.8KB) outlines the relationship between the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) training, and the QGCPO courses.
