Maintenance Management Framework

The Maintenance Management Framework (MMF) (PDF, 563KB) is the whole-of-Government policy for managing building maintenance.

It comprises a policy, associated guidelines and policy advice notes and applies to all departments which have maintenance responsibilities within their portfolio.

The MMF complements other whole-of-Government policies and guidelines, including the Capital Works Management Framework, the Building Asset Performance Framework and the Strategic Asset Management Framework

Why have it?

The Queensland Government owns and uses billions of dollars worth of building assets.

These assets must be properly and systematically maintained so that they continue to support the delivery of a wide range of government services which fulfil community needs.
