2.1 Introduction

Section 2 of the OAMF identifies the 4 key office accommodation management processes, establishes the relationship between these processes and provides a basis for the delivery of suitable, timely and cost-effective office accommodation to government agencies and the development of strategies to maximise whole-of-Government benefits.


The purpose of Section 2 is to describe the processes and procedures involved in planning, acquiring, fitting out and occupying government office accommodation in accordance with government policy and best practice.


Section 2 of the OAMF addresses the processes of

  • Planning
  • Space
  • Fitout
  • Occupancy.
