Supporting Queensland food and beverages

The Queensland Government’s Buy Queensland approach to procurement has been extended to create greater support for Queensland’s world class food and beverages.

As outlined in the Queensland Procurement Policy, we have committed to prioritising Buy Queensland first when purchasing food and beverages.

Food and beverage supplier directory

The Queensland Government Food and Beverage Supplier Directory lists food and beverage businesses supporting Queensland jobs.

The directory is now available to Queensland Government buyers to help search for food and beverage suppliers and will be publicly released in August 2019 – helping promote locally grown and produced food and beverages from all over Queensland.

How suppliers can apply

Registration is open for eligible businesses to be listed.

Businesses can apply online to be listed as a Queensland supplier of food and beverages.

Applicants need to:

  • have a physical Queensland presence
  • employ Queenslanders
  • supply food and beverages that are either grown, made or produced in Queensland.

Use a compatible browser or device or find out more about what you need to include in your application.
