Building and Asset Services apprenticeship program

The Building and Asset Services Apprenticeship Program is providing a revitalised avenue for the Government to play a key part in training some of Queensland’s tradespeople of the future, that support a sustainable building and construction industry to help drive growth across the sector.

In 2018-19, we provided opportunities for 40 fulltime and two school-based apprentices across Queensland, in the following trades:

  • Plumbing
  • Painting
  • Electrical
  • Refrigeration Mechanical
  • Carpentry
  • Stonemasonry
