Section 1

Tender Overview

This Forward Procurement Schedule is to notify potential suppliers of an intent to approach the market in the near future.

As part of their Digital Transformation Strategy, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) will approach the market for an Application Platform and related Professional Services.

QFES aims to use the Application Platform to integrate existing enterprise applications, interoperate with other public safety agencies and develop a new generation of business solutions within a controlled ecosystem. QFES is also interested in the opportunities presented by the “Internet of Things” and machine learning/artificial intelligence. Although the Platform is intended eventually for use across the enterprise, QFES expects to focus initially on:

  • computer aided dispatch
  • field service management
  • incident management
  • service request/order management
  • investigations and case management.

Furthermore, QFES will require related Professional Services to assist in the successful:

  • configuration and management of the Platform
  • design, configuration and deployment of business solutions using the Platform
  • transfer of Platform knowledge into QFES.

QFES is currently planning the required procurement activity and developing the related tender documents. Procurement Services Group reserves the right to amend this activity as necessary to accommodate business requirements.

If your organisation is interested in providing an offer for this future tender opportunity, please register your interest by emailing Troy Griffin, Senior Procurement Officer, Procurement Services Group email: PSBA.procurement@psba.qld.gov.au.
