Tender Overview

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - The Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning - Economic Development Queensland is seeking Expressions of Interests for the sale of Retirement Site - Carseldine - Retirement/Aged Care Opportunity - for the Carseldine Urban Village.

OPPORTUNITY - Ray White Special Projects Qld  on behalf of Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) are pleased to offer the Opportunity to acquire an area of land (Lot 3) located within the Carseldine  Urban Village, seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from the market for the sale and delivery of a 9100m2 (approx) “superlot” (Lot 3) within Carseldine Urban Village which will focus on the delivery of  Retirement and / or Residential Care. Flexible purchasing structures will be considered.

PURPOSE - EDQ is seeking expressions of interest from proponents to deliver a diversity of housing options for Queensland’s aging population. A 9,100m² parcel of land in Stage 1 (Lot 3) has been earmarked for Retirement and/or Residential Care. The balance of Stage 1 is set aside for terrace housing which is subject to a separate EOI process.
Options for delivery include:

  • Retirement village, independent living, aged-care facility, or a combination of these services in the form of an integrated development is encouraged.
  • Proponents are requested to demonstrate there is sufficient demand for the above (or any other) servicescontemplated in their proposals.
  • Proposals that seek to provide housing which meets a minimum Gold level of accessible housing under the Liveable Housing Guideline of Australia to support residents ageing-in-Place.

CLOSING DATE - Strictly 2:00pm EST on 5 March 2019.
