Tender Overview

Griffith University is one of Australia’s fastest-growing Universities, serving 46,000 students and more than 4,000 staff.  The University is a thriving multi-campus institution strategically positioned in the Brisbane-Gold Coast corridor, one of Australia’s fastest growing regions.

The University seeks to update and refresh their infrastructure and tools for delivering database services to support its business needs for the next 5 years.

The end goal of this refreshed service is to provide our business units with enterprise database services based upon the business requirements for availability, reliability, serviceability, security, scalability, performance and cost.

Infrastructure options are sought and may include traditional server blade plus storage array architectures, converged infrastructures or hyper converged infrastructure (HCI). Suppliers may submit proposals for one or more architectures.

The offer of backup environment is optional in this ITO. Suppliers may submit proposal for backup solution that best fit their proposed architecture or backup solution leveraging on existing Griffith backup infrastructure.

The solution should include options for either, or both, outright purchase (CAPEX) with ongoing maintenance or a managed on-site capacity on demand services (OPEX).
