Both vessels shall be multi-purpose platforms and perform a range of tasks including patrol operations, dive support operations, marine infrastructure installation and maintenance (eg moorings, signs), and island park management (camp grounds, walking tracks, weed management).
The Patrol/Landing Craft shall have landing craft capabilities to load and unload side by side vehicles, small excavators and posi-track type machines from boat ramps and beaches.
