We monitor our social media channels during business hours from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and will respond to queries within this time.
Terms and conditions
We use social media to engage with Queenslanders by keeping them up to date with our news, events and activities.
We are not obliged to engage in conversation via social media but we will address issues raised when judged appropriate by the administrators.
We expect that participants will treat each other with respect.
We will remove comments that contain vulgar or abusive language, personal attacks of any kind, offensive terms that target specific ethnic or racial groups, and comments that do not remain on topic or are not productive. We will also remove comments that are spam or that promote services or products or contain political references.
We reserve the right to terminate your access to our social media channels and to delete any content posted by you. The department accepts no liability for any loss arising out of or in connection with such removal. We may report users who post inappropriate or offensive material to the social media platform authorities and we are not obliged to reinstate any individual the platform itself blocks. Content posted on our social media channels are also subject to the terms outlined by the social media channel's terms.
We do not guarantee or warrant that any information posted by individuals on the social media channel as correct, and disclaim any liability for loss or damage resulting from reliance on any such information.
