The Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy is the lead agency for Open Data in the Queensland government. The department believes in the principles of open data and the potential social and economic value that it holds for the people of Queensland.
The department's Open Data Strategy lists departmental collected data, timetables for its release and standards for data management. The department has more than 300 datasets on the open data portal, covering the range of our activities and responsibilities. We support the Queensland Government's open data initiative by making the department’s data freely accessible on the Queensland Government Open Data Portal.
