Providing quality meals to Queenslanders
snapfresh is Australia’s leading ready-made meal manufacturer, providing full-service catering solutions for a range of industries including healthcare, aviation and not-for-profit.
In the past 12 months, snapfresh has provided 50,000 meals Australia-wide to Meals on Wheels, Indigenous communities and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) recipients through their partners. They have also fed close to 1 million hospital patients across 20 Queensland Health hospitals and health centres.
“snapfresh has developed strong partnerships to put Queenslanders first,” said Lou D’alessio.
“We have been working with Queensland Health to improve the quality and value of hospital meals, and now supply to 20 hospitals and health centres including the Gold Coast Hospital - a 25% growth over 2021.
“Recently, we were accepted to be part of the Queensland Government’s Preferred Supplier Panel for Food and Beverage, which is a recognition of the value we add to Queensland Health.”
snapfresh is committed to partnering with Australian-made food and vegetable producers and offering Queensland-created food solutions through all aspects of the supply chain, with 74% of their current suppliers being based in Queensland.
“Together with our staff, suppliers, partners and customers, we are bringing manufacturing activity back to Queensland on a large scale,” said Lou D’alessio.
